A cat's tail language

A cat's tail language

Hello, This is duz!😀

I told you about the behavioral language of cats in the last post.

Today, I'm going to tell you about the cat's tail language.

I told you that cats express a lot of emotions with their actions.

You can express a lot with your tail.

Let's find out what you're saying. 🕵️♂️

『Wobbly tail』

A cat's wobbly tail indicates its state of excitement.

A small, fast wagging tail from side to side can be in a state of excitement or anxiety.

On the other hand, large and slow shaking from side to side indicates a cat's comfort and satisfaction 😽

If the cat shakes strongly from side to side, it shows an aggressive tendency, which means it can attack at any time 😾

If you hit the floor because of the strong intensity of wagging your tail, you're either very excited or angry, and in this case, you'd better avoid it, but it can also be a positive feeling when you're playing or hunting.

Attack is possible at any time

❌ Please be careful when approaching the cat ❌

If you move your tail slightly, you do this when you're curious about something with a bug or an unknown sound.

Also, when a cat pretends to be sleeping, it pretends not to know when its guardian calls it, and its body does not move, but only moves its tail slightly. 😅

『A straight tail

Cats are territorial animals.

If you keep your tail straight when you move in your area, it's an expression of confidence and satisfaction.

If you keep your tail up when you approach your guardian, others, or cat, it means familiarity. 😊

If the tip of the tail is bent and shaped like a question mark when the tail is raised, this is the cat's greeting.

You can see this when your guardian greets you when he or she goes out and comes in.😸

『A puffy tail

There are various reasons for a cat's puffy tail.

When you're surprised or angry, your tail can swell even when you're in a great mood.

That's why you have to look at the cat's mood by looking at incidental factors such as the shape of the ears, pupils of the eyes, and posture.

In general, cats often inflate their bodies to make them look bigger and then threaten them.

If you swell not only your tail but also your body, please be careful when you approach it. 😠

『A tail wrapped around one's body

Cats wrap their tails next to their bodies when they feel scared. 😨

I put my head inside and curl up.

In this case, the cat may be feeling pain.

A cat wraps its tail around its body when it is afraid, but it also wraps its tail around other cats and other people's bodies, not its own.

This behavior is called "affiliated behavior" and is more expressive of affection than the behavior of a cat rubbing its head or body against the other person when it shows affection. 🥰

『A downed tail

In the case of a cat's tail straight down, please do not approach 😡 cat because it indicates serious mood or aggression.

If the tail is lowered and the tail is hidden between the two legs, it is an expression of anxiety or surrender, and at this time, you are feeling threatened, so if you approach it prematurely, you can attack it.

The cat can sit high and have a horizontal or lower tail in a relaxed state, lightly fluttering the tail.

So far, we've learned about the tail language of cats.

If you look at the language of the cat's behavior I think it will be more helpful in understanding the cat's mind.

I hope today's posting was helpful, I'll come back with a useful post next time.
